Hi
My daughter won a goldfish at the local fair and it is living in a standard
circular plastic starter home. I am not sure how much water they hold but I
know it's too small for the poor thing. Anyhow at Asda today they had some
food grade containers that hold 13 litres. I bought one, it's more like a
square and has a lid, it's quite sturdy and see through. Would it be better
for the fish if I kept it in that for a while until I can either buy a
bigger tank or re home the little thing. I thought I could cut a hole in the
lid much the same size as the hole in the starter home or maybe just cover
it with some type of mesh.
TIA

If the fish is small it can live in that for a while, not ideal I agree, but
better than
a smaller size it's living in.
