I just bought two pet mice. One I named Minnie because she's very tiny,
and one named Missy because she's has a very upbeat, sassy attitude.

However, I noticed that Minnie is very quiet. She just sits in the
corner with her eyes closed, and sometimes I notice her shivering. Is
there anything wrong with her? I'm worried that she may not have been
weaned properly, and that she's too young. She doesn't do anything, and
Ive only seen her walk around her cage for about 5 minutes tops. Is
there anything wrong with her?

Also, Ive noticed that her breathing is very sharp. She's barely eaten,
and only drank a bit of water, but it was hours ago. I'm going to call
a vet tomorrow... but does anybody have an idea of whats' wrong with
her?

Im not sure what it was, but she just died minutes ago. We were
planning on taking her to the vet, too :( We still aren't sure what it
was. Thanks for the advice anyway.

She sounds pretty sick. Sitting hunched in a corner is a pretty typical
thing for sick mice to do. It might be a respiratory infection...
they're pretty common in mice. But that's just an off-the-cuff guess.
