My OWA seems to have breif spells of madness!

He / she (I don't know which) suddenly seems to get very aggressive with his
surroundings.
His eyes go very orange, he sort of shakes his head and bites the perches
and bars of his cage.
After a minute or less of this behaviour he returns to normal.

Anyone met this before, is it normal, does he have a problem?

Any help / suggestions appreciated.

My Amazon also has little bouts like you describe. I just figure she's
letting off a little aggression. They ARE descended from dinosaurs, you
know! 8^)

Yup. Does he stomp up and down on his perch, eyes pinning etc? If so he is
in full hormonal display. He is saying to a potential mate "look how fierce
and brave I am, I can protect you when you are on the nest, *nothing* will
get past me to hurt you".
