Hi
I dont want to lose my baby....
here are the symptoms
-Gills moving constanty
-mouth opening and closing constantly
-black "charcol smudge" type patches on body
- Leaning slightly to the right at top of tank ( moves once every 5 or so
minutes)
-half closed fins
He eats a little bit that he can see right infron of him...looks very keen
for a second, then goes to his spot on the top of the tank

For constipation, how long do i continue the epsom salt treatment till the
fish gets better. I think i stopped to early last time because hes floating
again.

The only treatments i have available is epsom salt, pure rock salt, multi
cure, melafix and pimafix. No one in this bloody town have anything
else!!!!!

hope someone can clear this one up for me!
TIA
Ves

This seems like water quality issues - probably ammonia -
what are your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels. How big a tank and
inhabitants.

sleeping panda oranda - Hi I recently purchased a panda oranda and after a few days it was "sleeping" on the bottom and is weak because the current would occasionally take it away. I thought there was something wrong with its swim bladder and put it in a hospital ...

Oranda Issue - Hello My Oranda has been lying at the bottom of the tank and seems to be in seroius trouble. No visible signs of illness e.g. spots, fungus etc. He just seems to be lifeless and very rarely he will swim a few cm's and then lay on the bottom of the tank..

oranda's tail - My oranda, which i have only had for about a month, seems to have a long tail, not including it's fins. It is a young fish, about 2" in length at present. Will it's tail look shorter as it grows? or is this a genetic defect? or possibly it has bee...

Flipover-ed Oranda? - Hello... I've got two small-medium goldfish in a 25 gallon tank (ranchu and oranda, Aquaclear 200 filter, one apple snail that stays out the of the way, water heated to be in high 70s, tank set up for almost two years). The fish are usually fed sinking....

Oranda problems - Hi Everyone I have recently acquired a Oranda and it has been nothing but problems yet.... First it started getting a fungus looking growth on its headgrowth - I treated this with a general anti-fungal medication and it went away which I was pleased..
