I enjoy looking at your artwork.
I especially like your paintings of Funnel Cloud and the Blue Vessel. I
like your fruit art and your photography of the fairy by the light..
Did you use a print stamp to print over the pears?
Do you use a magic marker for your doodling; great designs.
Do you ever work with acrylics?

Sometimes she's very much like her namesake.

I think that's really sweet. But I won't tell anyone.

Hmmm, I hope this doesn't reveal me to be a total dope, but I don't know
who Harriet Brown is -- won't you please tell me? Then I can slap myself
on the forehead for not knowing.

Harriet Brown was one of the fake names Greta Garbo used when she
"vonted to be alone."

Harriet was named after the Opal song--the sweetest, saddest song
EVAR. This is a cover version, and I haven't listened to it because
I don't have headphones here, so I don't know if they butchered it
or not.

Ok, not slapping myself on the forehead! The song does sound sweet and
sad, although it's hard to make out all the lyrics. I tried to find it by
Opal online, but as I'm sure you discovered, it is impossible.

Yeah. They weren't around long, and their first album is especially
hard to come by. You can't even find lyrics online for most of
their songs.

Oh, also, just for context: Opal changed vocalists and became Mazzy
Star. Mazzy Star might be a little less obscure.

Yes. I carved a few small stamps from polymer erasers (the cheap
white erasers you find anywhere that sells office or school
supplies). Some of them were done with an Xacto knife and others
with linoleum cutting tools.

> Do you use a magic marker for your doodling; great designs.

Most of the doodles are done with either gel pen or art markers that
contain India ink.

> Do you ever work with acrylics?

Some. I use acrylics in my journals and books, because they dry
quickly. On canvas, I almost always use oils, because they're more
translucent.
