Norwegian Elkhound Parent Club has passed some new test recommendations


Hip Dysplasia

* OFA evaluation [check]
* PennHip evaluation [check]
* OVC evaluation
* GDC evaluation
any one of these will do btw

Eye Clearance

* CERF evaluation, minimum age 5 years
To be done.. when Tuck is 5

Autoimmune thyroiditis

* OFA evaluation, minimum age 5 years, from an approved laboratory

To be done.. when Tuck is 5
Kidney Disease

* OFA evaluation, minimum age 5 years
To be done.. when Tuck is 5

Elbow Dysplasia (Optional)

* OFA evaluation [check]
* GDC evaluation
any one of these will do
Patellar Luxation (Optional)

* OFA evaluation [check]

Fanconi Syndrome (Optional)

* PennGen test

will do, this one is important.

So Tuck's finals will happen when he's 5.
