This is a formal Request For Discussion (RFD) for the creation of a
world-wide unmoderated Usenet newsgroup rec.pets.dogs.training.
This is not a Call for Votes (CFV); you cannot vote at this time.
Procedural details are below.

RATIONALE: rec.pets.dogs.training

A newsgroup for the training of domesticated dogs would be of great
use to the canine community. Professional dog trainers and dog
owners alike would greatly benefit from the creation of this forum.
If more people are educated about various ways to effectively train
their dogs, perhaps less of these beautiful animals would find
themselves in dog shelters.

CHARTER: rec.pets.dogs.training

This newsgroup is for information exchange and discussion of all
aspects of dog-training methods and tools.

of the process, any potential problems with the proposed newsgroups
should be raised and resolved. The discussion period will continue
