So, a friend comes over the other day, and of course, first thing I do
is introduce him to Nibbler. She never acts shy around strangers -
usually she acts like she doesn't notice them and she goes about her
business. But, for this guy, she thumped every minute or so until I
sent him away. Why would this be?

He has a very strong accent (Russian) which is different from other
people she has met. Also, he shaves his head... I wouldn't expect
either of these to bother her, though. What else could it have been?
Why would she freak about about this guy? Should I just never have him
over again?

did he smell of lotion, cigarette or smoke? was his voice loud? there can
be quite a few reasons she did this but that doesn't mean you should stop
having your friends over. it's very possible that something other than your
friend may have spooked nibbler but it just so happens that it was at the
same time your friend was over.

don't worry, nibbler will be fine.

It's funny about critters. They seem to have a sixth sense about who's a
good person and who isn't. There are some people my little dog goes after
and others she's perfectly comfortable with. Maybe it's the way we react to
them. The people Angel doesn't seem to like are the same people I don't
like so very much.

Just my two cents.

Nibbler's getting weirder and weirder... - Now she's staring at me all the time - she's sit there for 20 minutes, staring at my forehead. Is she plotting my death or what?

Nibbler's new "game" - First of, let me mention Nibbler is completely fearless. She runs up to investigate scary new sounds, like the vacuum, instead of running away or hiding. Up until a couple of days ago, I'd never seen or heard her thump once. There is a bunny gate i...

UK hay gold mine ! - I passed a farm shop while out today, so on the way back I went in to see if they sold hay as I was running low. They did at £2 per bail which is £1 less than my last one, so the woman goes out the back and brings a bail around ~~~ Sweet smelling 2nd cu...

The Princess has a friend! - Uh-Oh! We've bought another bunny, so now we are a two-bun household. The new bunny is named Rosie, and she is a Lion Head lop. Mainly white with smoky-grey markings on her back, but black markings on her head. She is really very beautiful - I'll post..

A friend for Hoppy - It's been just over a month now since we lost Lily, Hoppy's companion. While Hoppy is not depressed, I do think he is lonely. We tried to introduce him to our three other bunnies but they just ignored him. Yesterday we went down to the shelter where w...
