Nibbler's getting weirder and weirder... - Now she's staring at me all the time - she's sit there for 20 minutes, staring at my forehead. Is she plotting my death or what?

Nibbler's new "game" - First of, let me mention Nibbler is fearless. She runs up to scary new sounds, like the vacuum, instead of running away or hiding. Up until a couple of days ago, I'd never seen or heard her thump once. There is a bunny gate in..

Nibbler had a weird reaction to a friend of mine - So, a friend comes over the other day, and of course, first thing I do is introduce him to Nibbler. She never acts shy around strangers - usually she acts like she doesn't notice them and she goes about her business. But, for this guy, she thumped..

Nibbler has a very odd temper. She is not at all aggressive to people
- she never bites or scratches. (At least, she never scratches on
purpose. She did take quite a gouge out of my shoulder yesterday. She
thinks she should still be able to sit in my shoulder like she did when
she was 2 lbs. She's now over 6 lbs and it doesn't work so well
anymore...)

She does get very angry at inanimate objects. It's happened several
times that she'll jump on my bed, land on a pillow, and slip off. She
then jumps on the bed and just beats the hell out of the offending
pillow. She really goes at it - scratching, biting, punching.

She's normally very sweet to her little stuffed animals - she carries
them around and grooms them. But, if they annoy her, she quickly
teaches them a lesson.

She also is aggressive to things I pay too much attention to. She
ripped 2 keys off my laptop. The other day I was reading a book on my
palm and she ran by, ripped it out of my hand and tossed it in to the
wastebasket. She has also attempted to beat up a stuffed dog that I
was idly petting.

This behavior is funny and cute, but I worry that if we got another pet
she would try to beat it up this way. Is that likely?

Rabbits are very jealous creatures. I have caused fights by petting one
rabbit and not the other. Merlin takes his aggression out on his
cardboard box.

Quark is the same way. He sits around being his independent buck self until
he sees me grooming Jessie the bag lady. Then he turns into a bunny,
worming himself between Jessie and me. He is the alpha rabbit and he should
be the one getting the grooming, even if Jessie is the one that looks like a
grenade went off in her, blowing her hair off in tufts from head to tail.

I've had a lot more time to spend with the rabbits, since I'm not working.
A little extra attentions has had great paybacks on their activity. Jessie
moves around more. Sometimes she even plays. It is a pitiful sight, like
watching a white buffalo frolicking in the springtime, their coat hanging
from them in shreds.

But Jessie is trying :-)

Jump usually ambles over if I'm petting Merlin, and sticks his head next
to Mer's for double pets. That's when Jump is well fed and happy!

Jump use to nip Merlin when I petted him. Merlin is still nervous about
getting petted in front of Jump. If rabbits were people, the police
would have to issue a lot of restraining orders!

If I pet Munchin too much Flopsie runs over, bites her in the butt and
chases her around the room. I've taken to using the water bottle on
her at times like this, but I think she's just mystified as to why it
starts raining in the room.
