Let us know how he makes out! It could be ringworm or it could just be a
little dry spot (like a hot spot but those are usually in a well worn place)
Taking Jack is an excellent idea...most certainly might help Nero relax for
the truck.

My dog is prone to what sounds a bit like what you are describing, and
usually the vet gives us Keflex and it clears up in about 2 weeks. He
usually breaks out on his thighs, belly and chest and most normally it has
been when he was a bit stressed (around the 4th of July - he hates fire
works, and when i had to kennel him for example...) and before I changed him
to all natural treats and lamb and rice food. Hope you get it figured out.

Our Storm is going through the same thing right now.
Over 1/2 of her back is losing its hair and little bumps, almost like bites.
We are changing her shampoo as Bear had it as well and got over it.
The vet tried to tell me Bears metabolism was slowing down and he needed
meds.
Yep answer for all doctors, pills pills pills.
