LMAO Too funny Dana!! That's great that you found a simple solution to
Nero and the truck...it's likely a whole lot less stress on him too with his
best buddy with him!

Now....as for the allergy. Are they just having you spray him, or are you
to spray the places he likes to sleep in too? It's kind of a weird spot for
an allergic reaction to happen. Is it possible he was bitten by a spider or
bug of some kind? He could have had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, in
just that particular place.

My sweet RIP Siberian Lynx got bit by a spider a few years back and with his
thick coat we didn't notice it at all...until he blew his winter coat! Damn
spot was almost 2 inches in diameter and looked like someone had just taken
a chunk of fur, skin and muscle outta him! Once it was healed, the fur
never grew back in that place. Weirder thing about it was that it looked
like a recluse (sp?) spider bite from all my net searches. Didn't think we
had them up here but maybe!

Have ya'll considered herbal solutions? My club VP actually has a human
herbalist give her suggestions and help for using on the dogs. Maiden's
coat is now bright and shiny, her daughter Chloe who was always the biggest
bitch in terms of moodiness twice a year, not to mention the false
pregnancies once a year and she's solved alot of it with herbs. Course, she
also spends like $60 a month on herbs for the dogs, but it certainly beats
paying a vet more for tons of medications that will do who knows what after
too many years on it.

LOL My Lynx was like that! Get in for a nice relaxing shower and in would
fly all 70 lbs of MO! Stupid cat! Had a large snake that would invite
himself into my hot baths too. But the dogs all would stay the hell away!!
I have to drag them into the bathroom, and then somehow I end up freakin
soaked no matter how I try to get them bathed! I even bought a shower hose
to minimize the water flow and nope...bad idea! Horse trough...got me a
great big horse trough figuring I could use that outside....worse idea! lol
