The gold dogs are getting a little fed up with needle canine teeth
snagging them in the face. I can't imagine why. Marcie has lost all of
the teeth between the canines, but the little daggers have a few more
weeks to go (she'll be 18 weeks next Monday). I don't think it can
happen soon enough for the big gold dogs.

She pounces on them pretty hard, and they are very tolerant and both
actively play with her, but I know they won't be sorry to see those
teeth go! I'm particularly happy to see Lucy enjoying play with her.
At 11, Lucy deserves to not be bothered if she doesn't want to be.
She's a real trooper though and entertains the little beast on a regular
basis.

Meanwhile, her housebreaking finally kicked in, she sleeps all night
crateless, and the house is a maze of blankies, mats and toys that she
drags out and prefers to leave at the top of the stairs.

Mr Goose finally was given a tracheotomy, but we have 2 of his siblings
now to rotate in while we stitch him up once again. He doesn't honk
anymore, but his tail still squeaks and his wings still crinkle. 2
months survival isn't bad at all!

My little shark played full speed ahead for 2 1/2 hours solid last
night. His buddies, Gene and Stan, were worn out way before he was.
One of the things that amazes me is how quickly he can switch from on
to off at bedtime, but I'm very grateful for that.

I didn't find any baby puppy teeth either, but considering the other
things that have gone into his mouth, I'm pretty sure Teddy ate them.

I found ONE the first day. Since then, not a one. This tooth is the
size of a sesame seed!

Friday is finally starting to accept Maybe (8 months old now),
maybe because she lost her razor teeth some time ago. I never
found any of those tiny shark teeth - they're embedded somewhere
in a tug toy, baseboard, or Rocky.

While I envy you your puppy, I'm pretty happy that mine is
growing up.

I've got a puppy fang from each of my current three.

And when I had my Connor neutered I had the vet extract a badly damaged
lower fang while he was under. When I came to pick him up the vet
walked out of the back room holding a dixie cup. I was relieved that it
was just the tooth. But she'd had a hell of a time getting the thing
out and I could see why. The root was bigger than the visible portion
of the tooth had been, even intact.

I have *3* of them like that from Franklin. Pretty clear that they were
not coming out on their own. Almost all of his litter had at least 1
like that. I have a bunch of little ziploc bags of puppy teeth - I keep
them from all of the fosters too! Molars and canines are a whole lot
easier to find!

No, this was Connor's adult canine tooth on the lower left (I think). I
didn't have him neutered until he was 4 or 5 years old.

I managed to find 3 or 4 of Erwin's puppy teeth. Don't know where they are
now though.

Then there was the one I 'found' the other day from a client puppy at the
vet clinic...embeded in my thumb! (gave it to the client)

How funny! Not the tooth part, the "what's in the dixie cup" part. The
things that travel through our minds at warp speed...

I'm not a fan of needle teeth. Poor big dogs.

Mr Goose is a toy I got for Marcie after her first night home (the night
that she screamed all night!). She took to him immediately and loves
him. Rudy loves him to, but being detructo dog, was given limited
access. I allowed more access, which mean tug of war with Mr Goose,
and he eventually had some injuries.

Right now, Marcie isn't all that interested in bumpers, so we're using 3
Mr Geese.

Here's a few pics of Mr Goose:
