There was a frog, too (plush, by a different manufacturer) that I
briefly considered getting instead of the fish. Then, I squeezed it.
The ribbet went on and on after you let go of it, which would have
driven me batshit crazy.

Thanks!
That one was taken with flash, which I hate to do. I didn't do any
in-camera effects. In Photoshop, I did some levels and curves
adjusting, then desaturated it and added back yellows and reds. I
also added a little bit of grain, which is probably why it reminds
you of black and white film.

I'm confused. Are you referring to Harriet or the fish between her
legs?

That's where I got this one. They had the snake, which I almost got,
and a few others. The fish was cheaper than the snake, plus it
cracked me up. It's like Jabber Jaws on acid.

Sorry, that wasn't at all clear.
My browser window opened as reduced in size, I scrolled down the photo
instead of enlarging the window. Viewed in that manner, it appears as if
the fish is leaning against a torso. Interesting perspective. Of course,
enlarging the window immediately resolved the situation.

Exactly. That's what lowering the saturation (not necessarily
completely) and increasing the yellow and red channels does.

I think it's actually easier to do that than to watch a visually
dull film with good plot/acting/script.

Ah! I see what y'all mean, now. And, really, it *is* an upper
torso, strictly speaking.
I once had a similar WTF reaction to a photo of two Boxers (funnily
enough). It was a head shot, and the first couple of times I looked
at it, I thought it was two really odd looking people. When I
realized it was *dogs*, fercryingoutloud, I felt kind of dumb. In
my defense, it was a fuzzy B&W photo, one of them was wearing a top hat.

IT;S ME! IT'S ME!! IT'S LOISE!!!
Terri, I want to apologize for not following up to your last note to me but
my world took a real sideways turn last fall. Our little farm sold. We sold
our horses, the kids both moved out, Dad retired, I got a knee replacement
and then we moved back to Idaho!! We're in this little bitty town, with a
cozy little house, two Rottiers, and the Jack Russel terrorist, Tazz. I was
really excited last fall about seeing our first real winter back home in
thirty-some years but it started snowing in December and there in now 147
inches of snow in our yard...okay Lord....WAITING FOR SPRING SOON....
Anyway, I'm back for the next couple of months till I have to get back to
work....looking forward to catching up with everyone again.
Missed you.

Rocky'll turn 10 soon, Friday's going grey, but puppies are a
cure-all.

I guess that's not a *huge* stretch from Miniature Schnauzers and a
GSD, but *wow*.
