Post subject: Mole Question!! Refer me to proper rodent newsgroup or help me??
Archived from groups: alt>pets>mice (more info?)

I am attempting to keep a young mole as a pet, and I know virtually nothing
about it. I've always been good at domesticating little wild rodents, but a
mole is a totally different ballgame. It eats ground beef, earthworms,
little grubs, and stuff like that---but I need to know if it's going to die
from not digging, or if I might stand a chance of being able to plant a big
tub of dirt and grass for him. I just don't know if I know all I need to
know.

If anyone knows a newsgroup that is active and might have someone who could
just tell me a little more about moles, I'm almost certain I could make this
work.

Moles get water from their food, right?
