Mocha's not doing good at the moment, going to see our doctor at 10:30
after getting a call back last evening. Not sure what's wrong except
he's not eating very much, the fur around his mouth is wet and his
poops are getting drier and smaller. He's been on baytril for the
last 2+ weeks. He just sits in the corner of his cage area. Please
think positive vibes for him. He's only 2 pounds 2 ounces-quite, a
little guy. He's the love of my life and I'm so worried about him.

Rhonda,

Sending good thoughts for your little guy.

I hope it is just an easily fixed molar spur problem or the like.

Oh, no ;( I hope that there are no real problems. Please let us know what
the doctor says.

Rhonda, we're all sending little Mocha healing vibes! Poor little guy...and
poor you to be so worried about him. I know it's so awful when they can't
tell us what's wrong and we have to do our best. At least you're aware and
taking him for help. Our thoughts and prayers are with you this morning. Let
us know!

Good luck at the vet's. Sounds like molar spurs to me, especially
with the wetness around his mouth. Brett and Hannah won't eat if they
have spurs poking their cheeks or tongue. I hope that's all it is.
They can grind them down and he'll feel much better in a day or two if
that's what it is. Hannah wolfed down mushy pellets with oats,
critical care and baby food when she had spurs (we had to wait a
couple of days to have them ground down). She ate it on her own too
which was nice she she refused to be force fed.

Keep us posted.
