Try sitting zazen with rabbits on the loose!
Mine come and nose-nudge me, gently and repeatedly. They also put their
sweet little paws up on me.
"Come on, Ma, let's play chase-the-rabbit!"

I gave up my walking meditation excersize in the living room... the pitter
patter of Hendrik's feet around mine - 'where are we going, mom?!' was too
distracting. So now I practice in the hallway.

I belong to an order of lay Episcopal women [Daughters of the King]
that adheres to a rule of daily prayer. Even before I joined this, I
prayed every night. I have made it my practice to pray with my
bunnies. Kuni just doesn't have the patience to put up with me, but
Noodles has done this with me for some time and since Raul became her
husbun he has joined in the practice as well. I end up stroking one
or the other or both of them on the heads while I pray. They are a
special reminder to give thanks for God's creation and I give special
thanks for the creation of rabbits at the end [even when they are
being absolute rascals].
Cheers, Diva
Kuni [I practice the meditation of tae bun do], Raul [And forgive us
our tresspasses, and our chew marks, and our poop kicks...] and
Noodles [I especially give thanks when the foodgiver puts out the food
for Raul and me after she says that really really long grace]

That is a very sweet picture, Diva--you saying your prayers with your buns.
Honestly, I do think buns have a special connection to the Higher Power.
My Higher Power has a great sense of humor and can even be a bit
mischievous!
Now who do we know who is like that???
