So sometime this week I will taking over the care of a long-haired
male guinea pig. It's been AGES since I had a long-haired piggie to
care for. Anything of special interest I should know about. he's
been a lone piggie for all his life, so I am hoping that I can
successfully integrate him with my singleton male. If not, I'll
figure something out.
But other than normal basic care, anything different with the long-
haired ones I should consider? I do remember chopping back the hair
on the long-haired one I had way back but he was just a normally (as
in normal for him) not wanting to be clean piggie (the kind that would
always sit in the dirty spot of the cage).
