Just thought I'd warn everybody living in West Auckland, New Zealand,
that your local council is going around indiscriminately killing pet
cats! Our cat Chloe was knocked off by Waitakere City Council recently
because she looked sick. No questions asked first about which vet she
had been seen by, or when, or what medication she was on! We were at
work at the time, and she was picked up about 2:00pm and was put down
by about 3:00pm that day. They didn't even try to contact us first!
