FYI - For those on a budget looking for a good quality food, I was in
Costco last night and noticed the Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and
Rice dog food. A 40 pound bag was priced at $15.29! I thought for
sure this stuff was going to loaded with Corn Meal and By-Products but
I was shocked when I read the ingredients. The ingredient list is as
good as any I've seen and the food is made by Diamond. No Corn, Wheat,
Soy or By-Products. Fresh Chicken and Chicken Meal as the first 2
ingredients followed by Whole grain brown rice and cracked pearled
barley. Lots of fruits, veggies and plenty of anti-oxidants too! I
picked up a bag to mix in with my Wellness and the dogs really like it.
A super deal at $15 for 40 Pounds! They also had a similar lamb based,
puppy and senior formula for the same price. >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

David, what exactly are the levels of antioxidants in (this) Costco's
version of 'Ol Roy? What grade/quality of meat meals is listed on the
bag?? Oh that's right, they DON'T list that info on the bag!! So you
have no idea! You get what you pay for and if you think you're getting
superior NUTRITION out of a 40 lb bag of dog food that's $15.29, you're
more of a nut than I previously thought! LOL!
BTW, the chicken can't be too "fresh" if it's dead and in a bag of dog
food w/ a 1 year shelf life!! >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

"Fresh" as in never frozen. The point is that they use fresh Chicken
and Chicken meal as their first two ingredients but you wouldn't know
anything about using actual meat in dog food, would you Mr. Corn n' Soy
Meal? What's wrong, does the thought of a quality dog food at $15 for
40 pounds emit a big vacuum sound within the corporate halls of Hill's
Colgate / Palmolive?
BTW, I sent an info request to Hills a week ago but never received a
response. I guess my questions are in queue behind dish pan hands and
teeth whitening issues! I won't hold my breath for a response...
Now get back out there and shuck some more corn for that fabulous food
of yours! :) >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

How do you know they use chicken that has never been frozen?? You
don't and that's the point. Pure and simple. In fact, do you mean to
tell us all, that Kirkland who outsources their dog food manufacturing
to a 3rd party (much like OMH Wellness) doesn't use ingredients that
have been transported from a rendering plant to their manufacturing
facility??
Puh-leese! ;)
And again, you are vouching for the quality of their dog food when they
don't even make it themselves?? Wow! You get what you pay for! >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

Kirland Signature is a Diamond product, the same company that
manufactures a myriad of different products. Diamond Chucnk, Nutr
Nuggets, Professional, Premium Edge, Nutra Nuggets Gold for overseas.
They also produced the Bayer Halethy Life product until that product
was withdrawn from the market. COSTCO sources a 3rd party manufacturer
to create a price point food. You get what you pay for. Take a look at
the calcium and phosphorus levels in the food. >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

What utter nonsense!
Who do you think you're kidding - there no need to ask, it's posted on
the website for everyone and anyone to access anytime.
Values are posted for all products in all four methods.
Guaranteed analysis
As Fed Analysis
Dry Matter Analysis
gm/mg/mcg per 100 kcal
Of course you know this as you've posted copied and pasted ingredient
labels numerous times and the nutrient numbers are right above the
ingredient panels. >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

Sure - like anyone is going to give you that kind of proprietary data.
Let me know when you get the formula to Coca Cola and the Secret Sauce
at Jack in the Box too will ya.
That, by the way, is NOT what you stated in the previous posting - you
attempted to denigrate Hill's by claiming Hill's refused to give you
simple calcium and phos numbers which is utter BS and you know it. >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |

Now you're parsing your own language! Are you purposely attempting to
be sneaky and misleading? >> Stay informed about: Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice Dog Food |
