I rescued these two knuckleheads from some very neglectful neighbors.
She told another neighbor she would forget or could not afford to feed
them, sometimes for as long a week, because she needed the money for
drugs. If the dogs were lucky, they had bread and muddy water. I don't
think they had ever had puppy chow until I took over their care.
Nick is about ten months old, a chocolate lab-mix. Jack is a four-month
old pitbull-terrier mix. I had both neutered. They've had all their
vaccinations and were given a microchip. They are full of energy,
happy, smart. In just a few days they both learned to "Wait" before
entering a door, "Kennel" to get into their boxes, "Sit," "Come," but
I'm having a hard time with "Off" as in GET OFF ME! They are probably
just so glad to have human contact.
Both of these boys will make wonderful family pets. Jack has been
neutered early enough to mitigate his alleged heritage. He is quite the
affectionate rascal. Nick would be good in a family of boys. He's
strong and could probably run all day.
Please come forward and give one of these guys a stable, loving home.
