Final Report to UHF:
Our hoomin came home a few days ago. Kanga and I ignored its arrival, but
now I am speaking to it again. Kanga never really spoke to the hoomin, so
nothing has changed there.
We had great fun with the 'stand-in' hoomin while ours was gone. Whenever
the stand-in let me out of my cage, I ran over to a spot near my litter box
and started furiously rooting up the carpet! The stand-in didn't know what
to do, so he would put me back in my cage for a while. After a short time,
he would feel guilty about me being in the cage and let me out. Then I
would run directly over to that same spot and root up some more carpet! Or I
would go chew the wall. Then the cycle would start all over again. I made
a nice new carpet-hole and a nice new wall-rip for my hoomin to patch.
Kanga had a different game. She would play 'frozen bunny' when the stand-in
approached her. Then, when he picked her up to put her back in her cage,
she would limply allow herself to be lifted. She would allow him to carry
her for a few feet and then BAM! She started kicking and trying to climb the
hoomin and scratching its arms. Kanga's game was very good. It was fun to
watch the silly hoomin try to hold onto her. He was very scared of her by
the end.
Now our hoomin knows that if it leaves we will destroy its apartment and
terrorize its hoomin friends. Ha! Bet it won't be leaving again without
thinking twice.

Aye, good job, Babbit and Kanga. Thank you for the timely debriefing. Have
you received your ranks yet? If not, the Lt. Commander should be contacted.
Your comrades,
Lt. Jessie and Cheif Warrant Officer Quark (Salute)
