Forget about those stoopid connector things and use zip ties or cable
ties or whatever your local hardware store calls them. You'll need a
lot. I uesd medium ones and wrapped them twice around before threading
the end thru the hole, and then I trimmed off the end.
I used 2-3 ties per side of the panel. Pepper's condo is 2 wide by 3
across by 3 high, and I secured it to screw-in cup hooks in the window
frame so that the windowsill is incorporated in there. It looked
incredibly wobbly till I added the roof and that was what stabilized the
whole thing.
When I make folding pen/gate/things that don't have a top, I put the
panels together in groups of 2 and overlap them by one set of squares.
This makes a rigid rectangular panel. Then I attach them side to side
so that they can fold. The "ends" or the "doors" of a condo can be
secured pretty well with large binder clips.
You can always e-mail me with questions, and I'm on IM all day at the
office if you get stuck.
