Post subject: Help please
Archived from groups: rec>pets>birds>pigeons (more info?)

Nearly a month ago a pigeon decided to stop off in my garden. It has a
white tail and head and has choclate brown wings body and like a cowl
over its head. As the wild birds are bullying it I decided to contain
it. This I have done but the red ring on its leg does not appear to
have any writing on it ! Is the writing exceedingly small ?

Is there anyone in the Manchester UK area that wants to take care of
the bird or should I just release it ? its survived ( sort of ) for
nearly 4 weeks.

Any advise appreceiated
