Hi All,

I have recently become disabled and am no longer able to take care of
my 2 3 year old AKC Great Danes.

They are a female and male and are litter mates. They have great
temperment and are truly gentle giants.

Does anybody know how I can advertise to give them away to someone who
is well adverse in large breeds and will adequately take care of them?

I live in Mississippi and need to find them a home as soon as
possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad

go to petfinder.org and find the rescue groups in your area and contact them
for assistance. they will only place dogs in well-vetted homes with nice
people...that's how I got my dog, they really inspected me, my house, my
thoughts on dogs, my ability to care for them, etc.
Good luck!

The closest Great Dane rescue I could find to you...is in
Georgia. Here is some contact information...you might be
able to get the dogs transported to them, if this rescue is
willing to accept them:

Great Dane Protection League of Georgia
Contact: Jeannie Holder
Phone: (770) 966-1050 (long distance calls returned collect)
Email: <Jdane1.RemoveThis@aol.com>

I hope you can find a closer rescue...good luck!!!

The only listing I could find for a Great Dane rescue group in
Mississippi is this one:

Lori & Tim Keefe
37 Anchor Lake Rd.
Carrier, MS 39426
601-798-9505

Good luck!

Hi,

Tried that number and it is a wrong number. I really need some help
here. I looked into the petfinder.org, but there was something about fees
associated with giving the dogs up. I am not looking to make any money
although they cost me $600.00 a piece, I will be more than happy to give
them away to a good home. But I really dont want to pay out more in the
process.

Any other info would be appreicated.
