You are grossly under powered for heating that size of tank. 100 watts
heaters are usually good for 20 gallon tanks, 200 watt heaters are
sufficient for 50 gallons. When you talking about 125 gallons tanks even a
300 watt is not sufficient. 500 watts is what you need for an non-insulated
tank with moving water. If 200 watts is all you can get in your area, it
would be possible that two - 200 watt heaters may suffice in getting your
tank to 85 degrees and maintaining at that temp since if you are in the
southern Hemisphere it is summer there, Right!? When winter rolls around,
depending on your weather, you may have to augment with a third 200 watt
heater.
