Post subject: HELP PLEASE: I think my rabbit had a stroke
Archived from groups: alt>pets>rabbits (more info?)

I am from Australia and just a few minutes ago at approx 12:20 i think my
rabbit Co Co Pops had a stroke. We let her out in the backyard to play when
I saw her fall over on her left side with her head tilted to the side. I
picked her up and put her on a soft towel. Her little eyes closed and her
mouth was partially open. Also her left leg wasn't moving (she was slumped
over) and her head was tilted. I kept tapping and tried to get her to move
when all of a sudden she 'woke up' and sat up and her head wasn't tilting.
We took her down to the vet's (mum and i) and in the car she was sitting in
my lap but she was moving and looking around. She is six years old and
nothing like this has happened before. The vet said that she had a miniture
stroke and nothing can be done. Can anyone help please?

Also she is in the house right now and she has done a wee but it is a
yellow-creamy colour and she is drinking water and hopping around a bit.
