| I have a small goldfish pond in my backyard in central Florida (zone 9). I
have Ryukins, Koi, and Shabunkins. I know the koi will be fine in the Winter
(water temp probably won't get below about 40-45F at the coldest)... but what
about the ryukins and the shabunkins? Anything special I need to do for them?

Just keep a hole in the ice if ice forms on your pond's surface. This allows
any gasses to escape. And make sure you protect them from herons and other
predators outside. >> Stay informed about: Fantials in Pond (Winter) |
