So, to get back to the topic of this newsgroup:

Do the people who support ethical vegetarianism and/or animal rights
here see domestication of animals, selective breeding of animals,
animals as pets, and so on, as a violation of their rights or a
violation of the basic principle behind ethical vegetarianism?

Would there be any domestic animals, including pets, in a world of
vegan humans? How would humans interact with animals?

1. Look into FARM SANCTUARY 4 ANSWERS on "domestication."

No selective breeding----------these are rescues!

Vegan Humans have pets (if they want them--not all do)----these pets
are treated well.

Some vegans are vegan for health reasons only and have no regard for
animals-----------these are the selfish-elites.
You do not appear to be one of them.

hope this helps.

Many animals are already domesticated, and can live with humans, just as
other species coexist with each other.

This can happen without further domestication of other species and not
rely on further selective breeding.

Yes.

How would humans interact with animals?

Much as they do now.

Human life would be very much poorer without interaction with other
species of animal; and can be of mutual benefit.
