Yep. And there are a good number of excellent breeders in the San Diego
area already. The best known is probably Montwood, Vic Monteleon's
dobermans. Vic's wife runs a huge rescue for the many poorly bred and
unwanted dogs in that area, and Vic is one of the world's experts on
dobermans--inventor of the Working Aptitude Certification (which was
then adapted by the ATTS), originator of the Doberman Longevity program,
now copied by many other clubs, and co-founder of the Agility Top 20
program, past President DPCA, the list is endless.
