Just wondering if anyone has had success with the B.A.R.F. diet?
I would like to give it a try since I'm cooking more lately.
My dog gets diarrhea allot and would like to try another approach.
Can I start with giving my 2 1/2 year old Pit Bull raw chicken wings?
Thanks,
Matt

Chicken/poultry are OK raw....NEVER cooked, boiled, warmed anything but raw
Pork is alright raw but beware of worms and cooked I personally worry about.
They splinter too much for my liking
Beef....raw or cooked is fine
Lamb...raw definitely better.....cooked...tends to splinter if overcooked
Deer or venison....raw or cooked is fine

I spent a week doing various tests personally on all these type bones simply
for my exotic cats. The above is the results I found 10 yrs ago. I stay
away from giving them pork because the results were just too all over the
place consistently.
