Anyone else catch the episode of Dexter's "Lab" on the Cartoon network? It
was too funny!

Dexter, boy genius, finds a yellow lab (or one finds him) on the way to
school. The lab follows him home. Dexter decides to keep the cute Lab.
The lab "helps" Dexter work in his laboratory (keeps bringing him things ---
everything in the lab).

Being a boy genius, Dexter makes a pill so that the Lab can talk in human
language. Dog: "Look! It's a thing -- I found a thing! It's a THING!
Hey, a thing!" and so on. At dinner: "Food! Hey, it's food! FOOD! It's
food -- here's food!" Later that night, the dog is barking/yelling out the
window to the other dogs: "Hey, you dogs! I'm a dog, too! Hello, I'm a
dog!" over and over.

The next morning, Dexter decides to find its owner and get some peace. He
does (the owner is as happy-happy and as talkative as the Lab dog), and
everything goes back to normal. The funniest thing was when the lab dog was
running around Dexter's "lab," messing things up but being very cheerful
happy-happy about it. My 7-year-old, watching, said "Yep -- that's a Lab,
all right."

If you ever catch the episode on Cartoon Network, it's worth a look.

I absolutely love that one! I found it on VHS while I was in the UK and HAD
to purchase it. The episode is called "A Story" and is from Season 2.
