Sara, prices vary so much from one area of the country to another, from one
vet to another. The rescue group should have a relationship with one or
more vets in your area who can provide an estimate...

| I am volunteering with a rescue group which has a 4-year-old pitbull
| whose teeth are mostly worn down and who has a couple of REALLY bad (1
| dark brown, 1 split) teeth. I petted both his cheeks together and he
| whined from pain, so it's pretty clear that he needs dental work
| performed.
|
| This is not my dog but I would like to help if I can. I know that for
| dogs to get dental work done they must go under anesthesia, and that
| gets expensive. Does anyone know how much this type of work runs? I'd
| like to be able to contribute toward this, but I'm worried about the
| final cost so I am trying to get an estimate from anyone who's gone
| through this before. Thanks.
