That's what "Animal Rights" is about. "AR" organizations are sometimes
confused with Animal Welfare groups--and I believe a significant percentage
of the millions of dollars they take in each year is from people who are more
interested in promoting AW than "AR"--so it's a good thing to point out the
difference between the objectives from time to time.

· "Animal Rights" is a gross mi$nomer in regards to domestic
animals. The goal of "ARAs" is to eliminate domestic animals,
and they exploit Animal Welfare issues to generate funding for
what they hope to accomplish. "ARAs" are extremely opposed to
the suggestion that people try to contribute to decent lives
for farm animals with their lifestyle, because that works
