Archived from groups: rec>pets>dogs>behavior (more info?)

We trained Cubbe not to jump on us when we walk in the front door. If
she comes to the door and sits, she gets a biscuit. We're not perfect
trainers so she's not perfectly trained. She's been known to snuffle a
bit in grocery bags before sitting, but this has worked well enough.
Too well, I think. Sometimes I think that dog has no affection or
enthusiam. She only wants biscuits and would have nothing to do with us
otherwise.

Yesterday I went off to a quilt show with Ellie and left Jim at home. I
wouldn't have thought that was a remarkable occurence, but when I came
home, Cubbe went nuts with her greeting. She was wagging and nose
kissing. I got down on the floor so she could get her licks in without
jumping up which would have been misbehaving.

Gosh it is good to come home to a greeting like that. I've seen her do
that for Jim when he's been out of town, but I always figured that's
because she loves him best. Then it occurred to me how rarely I got out
for any length of time without Jim. Usually we go out for the day
together, or I go out briefly for groceries. Having me gone for the
whole must be such a rarity it deserves major celebration when I return.

Now she's back to normal.

Dogs jump all over you not as a greeting
but to get their mom to get dizzy and puke
up some fresh hot breakfast.

As adult dogs, they often continue to do
so as a DISPLAY of SUBMISSION.

> If she comes to the door and sits, she gets a biscuit.

Obviating the need to "greet" you with their happy voimit dance.

> We're not perfect trainers

As a matter of fact, you're dog abusrer liars cowards
and active long term incurable mental cases.

> so she's not perfectly trained.

Hardly. You jerk and choke her on your pronged
spiked pinch choke collar and she attacked your
only friend and you shock her to keep her from
escaping, she's attacked the old dog belonging
to your terrified neighbor for no reason and tried
to attack two neighborhood children that used to
come over to mooch cookies off you and she's
bitten both your boytoy jimbo and her vet while
trying to restrain her for exams.

Yeah. Works great. That's HOWE COME some
mental people jerk and choke and knee their dogs
in the chest and step on their dog's toes.

> Too well, I think.

That so?

IMAGINE? You suppose maybe she's MOORE
interested in food than you and doesn't have
any affection or enthusiam on accHOWENT
of YOU HURT HER, liea?

> She only wants biscuits and would have

DUH?

Don't leave your door or windows open
on accHOWENT of she'll bolt through
your surrHOWEND shock system again
and run like heel and never come back.

Was he stupid enough to be there when you returned?

That anyWON would be seen in pubic with you
on accHOWENT of you're a raging mental case?

She was probably lookin for your only friend Ellie
so she could attack her again for standing in her
shock zone.

> I got down on the floor so she could get her

Well liea, she certainly got you trained good.
Didn't they have any food at the show that
you could bring back for her?

Dog abusers enjoy submissive dogs.

Probably so, liea.

HURT HER someMOORE?

You mean, unaffectionate and unenthusiastic,
lookin for food and a smaller innocent person
or dog to attack, or a chance to escape.
