Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried cooking or baking treat items for
their hamsters. My three 9 (2 dwarfs and a Syrian) love their Vitakraft
doughnuts and muffins, but I find them to be rather expensive and would
rather control what they eat.

We stayed away from treats because with the hammie food we bought, your
basic seed and grain mix, we always gave him fresh fruit and veggies... All
that fresh food he loved and see there's his treat

14 day old hamsters - I posted here a couple of weeks ago about my hamster giving birth to babies. Well, they're 14 days old now and I was wondering if its ok to handle them at least to clean the cage out. (It's mighty funky in there). All 8 of them have fur, are eating..

hamsters - how many hamster breeds are reconzied around the world? do all hamsters look similar? and do you have to look at different parts of a hamster to discover what breed a hamster is?

What can a can't hamsters eat? - What food can a hamster eat, and what foods can't a hamster eat. Is there a list somewhere?

Are hamsters right for you? - >My mom says I can get a hamster when we move but i'm not sure a hamster for a pet?
