When I close Xnews, Hamster always reports following warning:

2007.04.26 16:18:30 WAR {438} Connection lost: 127.0.0.1:119 (468)

and it gets pretty annoying. I also use Dialog with Hamster and have no
problem of this kind. What could be the problem?

TIA,

It seems that XNews (like OE, btw.) doesn't close the connection correctly
by sending a QUIT command; these clients simply cut off the line, letting
the server speculating what might have happened.

You can hide these warnings by setting the 'Log.IgnoreConnectionLost' value
inside of hamster.ini (details see help file).

Thanks a lot! That solved the problem, or at least hided it.
