Perhaps Dr. Jebens, the veterinarian who just posted, would like to shed
some light on the whole process of eye coloration?
I believe the colored part of the eye is called the iris. I'd like to know
what substances make an iris blue, gold, or green. Isis' green-yellow eyes
must have a blue element in them since yellow plus blue equals green. The
idea of watching gold flecks appear in a blue background does sound
fascinating. I wonder what material generates gold in a cat's eyes??
