It's very chilly so Persia's also gotten an attack of the zoomies. She's
not only racing around, she's decided the strings that hold up my pajama
bottoms are great fun to attack. She tackled and knocked over and sideways
the red cube I got for her; she was on a toy mousie hunt :)

She's also talking a heck of a lot. Wish I knew what she was saying. Well,
I know one thing she's saying: "Don't tuck those strings into your pj
bottoms, they're a lot of fun to play with!"

What I like best is Molly comes inside without a struggle. Tonight she came
in as soon as she was called, even with a full moon out. When she won't
come inside, we leave the garage door up enough she can get in there, but I
don't like to do that. In the summer, I think most every house on the
street has their garage open enough so their wandering cats can get in.

Persia is getting exercised!

You'd better not have anything hanging out in this house, because Dante will
get you. I have a pair of pants with drawstrings sticking out all over the
place-- around the waist, on the pockets, around the ankles, etc. It sounds
dopey, but they're really quite pretty. And they're a Dante magnet.

At his diginified age, Stinky is lazier-- or just more efficient.;) He
just lies around in one of his favorite places, but if I walk by he just
sticks out his paws and GRABS. ;)

Cold front zoomies - Last night the first cold front of the season blew through, dropping our temperature by 30 F (16.6C) in less than 24 hours. This morning the cats were zooming all over the house, bouncing off the walls and refusing to go out to their enclosure. :)..

Zoomies!!!! - This morning, we all have the zoomies!!! So I have three orange blurs and a blue eyed blur crashing through the house, falling off stuff and banging things around. Aren't kittens fun? I am not really trying hard enough to find new homes for..

Early Morning Zoomies - Persia must be feeling the coming of spring. At 6AM she got the zoomies in a big way. She was dashing through the apartment, sounding like a thundering herd of elephants. She'd dash into the bedroom, leap onto the bed then use me as a springboard to..

Weather - After weeks of 100 to 104 temps, it is now 59 degrees. We had a real "gully washer" with thunder and lightning. TuTu was very nervous and kept winding herself around my feet. I opened the closet door and told her to hide in there, but she...

Weird weather - What is going on with the weather worldwide? While Russia suffers the coldest winter in decades, we are having an early spring here in central Texas. Trees are blooming, birds are singing, people are wearing shorts... what the heck is going on? -- ..
