Cheese ?

yep. they love it. well, most of them do, about two-thirds. the rest
completely ignore it.

used to take red on cheese trips. he'd jump into my hand and I'd carry him to
the kitchen, cut him a pea-sized bit, and give it to him. he'd eat it while I
carried him back to the cage. not many mice will eat while sitting in your
hand, but he would.

about 90% of mice like peanut butter. they all like vegetable oil.
