One is Lab/Catahoula mix and is 3 years old - neutered
the other is Catahoula/Sharpie and is 1 year old - not altered female.
It would be ideal if they could stay together, and they are great with
children and other dogs. Please call Cori Edwards at 512-351-4060

My husband is attending law school in the Fall and we have to move.
We cannot move with 5 dogs and if I cannot find a good home for two of
our dogs, then we will not move and he will just have to go next year
when we are in more of a position to take them all.

I am planning on getting her spayed, but she is not spayed at the
moment. I know there are a few people who post messages because they
are bored or feel like being rude because it's easier to do it on a
newsgroup than the person who you would rather lash out at, but I am
not one of them. I am looking for a good home - which I have very
high expectations for. The very least I can do is try to a loving home
-preferably someone with land- who is looking for a couple of good
dogs for companionship. That is the least I can do.

WOW. I didn't know when I posted this that someone would feel the need
put me in my place. The rest of this message is aimed toward you,
Shelly: Walk a mile - maybe I should even say a meter - in someone
else's shoes before you assume they are an idiot. Everything is not
black and white as you seem to think so. I am trying very hard to find
a good home for my dogs. YES WITH LAND. That land would need to be
fenced, just like my 3 acres are fenced. I am not sure why you feel
the need to be so ugly to someone who might love animals just as much
as you do. Yes, I am trying to drum up clients for a pet sitting
business. FYI - I would like to start my own kennel and rescue when I
move back to Austin when I am not working full time to support my
hubby in law school. I hardly see why I need to explain this except
that my judgement is being questioned. If you cannot help find a home
for two loving dogs, please find someone else to preach to. And I mean
that in the nicest way.

Taken on it's own, Cori Edward's post was certainly far from the
worst I've seen. The fact that it was posted on the same day
that she was advertising her dogsitting business (on these
groups) made me question her stated reasons for giving up her
dogs.
