Has anyone used the Cat Attract litter? One of our rescued cats has stopped
using the litter box in her new home. Getting her checked for a urinary
tract infection. She did this once before in a foster home where she was
being intimidated by another cat. In another foster home she was fine with
cats that didn't harass her. She is the only animal in the new 'forever'
home.

I've used it multiple times for litter training young kittens, and
once for a problem pee-er who was being rehomed. It is great product.
But keep in mind that the urination could still be behavioral, even
if there are no other animals in the home.

I use the regular Dr. Elsey litter, Precious Cat, at home with my own,
and really like it as well.

My sister recently purchased some, but it is too early to see if it is
effective. The "Cat Attract" web site claims the litter was developed by by
Dr. Elsey, a cat only vet. It contains a herb that is supposed to attract
cats to use the litter, and the texture is also supposed to help with cats
that have a history of urinating outside the box. It was supposedly
developed as a "training litter."

I searched for it on the Internet, and there there are a lot of references
to it (many of which are the commercial advertising type) Here are a couple
of links:

Cat Attract litter is unscented clumpable litter that has a powder added to
make kitty want to use the litter.

It has worked very well for my "use the box sometimes" 16 pound neutered male.
