i would bet that if you add some fruit to them they may taste ok.
Nona, have you ever thought of just asking at the market for the
carrot tops? that way you wouldn't have to buy so many!

Good idea, Mickey, and I do take whatever tops I can get that have been
discarded.

But, in our case, we do give a *small* portion of the root with the top.
(It's a bigger portion when Ira does the cutting since he is the one who
actually delivers the tops before he leaves for work early in the AM. He
likes spoiling those -- in at least one case -- overly pudgy buns. I'm
the toughie.)
