Archived from groups: alt>pets>ferrets (more info?)

Hello Everyone,
My girlfriend Jackie and I had to take or ferret Cooper to the vet recently
and needed a ferret carrier RIGHT AWAY. Since we were going to be gone most
of the day we needed a suitable carrier that could house Cooper comfortably
but didn't have one. After surfing dozens of websites shopping online and
shopping from store to store in our town, we were unable to find a ferret
carrier that fit our needs. We had a very specific idea in our minds of what
we wanted in a pet carrier and nothing available seemed to fit the bill
completely.
So we made our own. It worked so well a client at the vets thought we should
market them so we're giving that a shot.
Discounts available for ferret shelters or multiple purchases.

See it on our ferret website:
http://www.goldiesplating.com/ferrets/ferret_transport.htm

Even if NOT interested, please check out our Ferret Website anyway as I
think it is pretty cool! http://www.goldiesplating.com/ferrets

Thanks for reading our post,
Fred & Jackie

They could buy a plastic toolbox for about $10, cut a square hole and cover it with
screening for less than $1, paint it with ferret prints and silhouettes for pennies,
thereby saving $39.

You forgot the pish pads, water bottle and the rubberized coating on the
wire mesh's sharp edges, not to mention the dozens and dozens of holes
drilled to affix the wire mesh neatly AND securely. Each hole for the wire
mesh is drilled separately and gives a nice look.
I'm sure there may be some people out there who would rather buy one ready
done than go through the hassle to make their own and have it look like
trash, just as there are those who COULD do it themselves. I'm appealing to
the former. ;o)
