My vet said to try this but just today I called 4 or 5 vets and was told by
half it is used to treat constipation and the other half said it was for
diarrhea. Now I dont know what the heck to think. Anyone had luck with this
and if so whats the procedure you used: amounts, frequency. Thanks

I'd be surprised if a cat would eat any kind of pumpkin.

Pumpkin is a source of natural fiber and it can help both constipation
and diarrhea. Iffy if it really helps (I haven't had much success
with it for either problem first with a megacolon kitty and now an IBD
kitty) but the theory is that fiber helps with distribution of water
in the GI track. With cats, water intake must be monitored so they
get enough when adding fiber.
