It's nice to have a live-in model who will work for food. Or,
rather, will laze around on the couch and look pathetic for food.

The photo a bit soft, because I didn't use flash. I'm pretty happy
with how the new camera handles low light conditions, though.

Thanks! The learning curve is going to be steep, I think, but fun.

I thought this would look cool done in black N white but the green collar
and tag struck me to. So I played around with the photo and this is what I
did..........I hope you like it.

Cool! I'm pretty shameless about Photoshopping but I don't often
think to convert to BW. Usually when I do, it's because the only
way to save the photo was to add grain.

No selective color in that one, though. I'll have to give that a try.

Canon Digital Rebel XT. I've got some selective focus (toy!) lenses
on order, and can't wait to get them. Harriet's going to be doing a
*lot* of modeling work in the near future.

Thanks! Part of my selective focus lens set-up arrived today. I may
have an ice day tomorrow, so there will likely be a canine photo
shoot. Assuming, of course, that there is not enough ice to knock
out electricity.

Shelly,
Thanks for the great pics (as always). I was checking out Harriet and
trying to determine if she is in repose, or semi-conscious because her
collar is too tight? I know it is just the way she is laying, and me
trying to be humorous:)

Yaknow, I *do* threaten to strangle her on a near daily basis.

Harriet has neck chub. Or, rather, lots of that loose, extra skin
that's typical of bully breeds. It looks horrible when her collar
rides low. It's loose enough to get my whole hand under it, and I
can actually pull it over her head without unbuckling it.
