I don't have much energy or strength to talk about it now. But Buddy, the eye
bun, died on the way to work Fri nite. I'm so sad and empty. he had been
going down hill for a few days.
I DID have the strength to do a necropsy and there was more wrong with him then
met the eye. I worked all Thurs nite - and only slept 3 hrs friday because i
was up with him all during the day. Then i cried all nite at work Fri nite...
I'm exhausted, drained, empty, sad, sick, and i have to work yet tonite.
I'll post more about this later - candles lit for his journey - he was one
brave bunny that knew love for the last 5 weeks i had him. Til we meet again

oh ronie, i cry when i see the posted, i know your heart broken, but at
least he know you gave him love, i know he will carry that love with him
forever, we will love and miss him forever too, candle will light for his

I'm so sorry for your loss Ronie. Buddy knew unconditional love before
he left, thank you for loving him so much and making him happy, he's
waiting for you with love in his heart, he can't wait to show you how he

Not surprising, actually. I know a number of people who've rescued
bunnies from really bad situations only to find out there were lots of
hidden problems.

Oh Ronie - I'm so very sorry. I know you did all you could for him - and how
lucky he was to have known tender, loving care for the rest of his life --
once you met him. He was looking so much better on the outside, I'm sorry
he wasn't as well on the inside.

Ronie, So sorry to hear of another loss. It's amazing how quickly we come
to love these little furballs. Even though it was only five weeks, you made
such a difference in his life. Take care of yourself now. Grief is such a
hard thing to handle. Take the time you need to heal and remember you did
your best for him. You gave him a chance he wouldn't have had otherwise.

I'm sorry Ronie,
You have a big heart to help these poor types that are in such bad
shape. I know you have high hopes for each one, and so do we.
Sometimes when we lose one too soon, I just want to beat my head against
a wall and say how it's just not fair. It's just too much to bear.
You did good by Buddy, he got some much-needed love. I'm sure he went to
the bridge with peace in his heart.
