Breeding Goldfish

I like sponge filters for baby goldfish tanks. Set it up as soon as you can. there will be microscopic live on the sponge, the fish will eat that between feedings. tho, there won't be much on a fresh filter. I've raised mine in a ten gallon tank full of water, the six inches thing sounds good, ..

Has anyone tried the CICHLID breeding caves sold @ http://www.commonwealth.net They state that their fish breed like crazy in their caves and logs. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

I have been doing some research on goldfish breeding, but I still can't find out can you see goldfish eggs? Does anyone know?
« assuming you may have goldfish, buy a jewelers loupe and you can pick up a strand of the plant material their stuck on and look at the eggs close up to see the huge eyes in them, and a few days lat.. »
