We have moved out to the country and I was all excited about starting our own
pigeon loft. I took my husband to the loft of a fellow I knew raced pigeons.
His facilites were modest, but absolutely spotless and easy to build and
maintain. As soon as my husband walked in the door he started having severe
hay fever allergic reaction to the pigeon dust. I said that looks like my idea
of a loft may be postponed or cancelled due to his allergies. Again we visited
another loft and he still had the same reaction. Can he do anything to prevent
the allergic reactions? BTW: He grew up around farm animals, goats, cattle,
horses, dogs, quail. He is not allergic to our other birds (gamebirds,
poultry, birds of prey, parrots).
