HANNAH - 2 yrs old, fun, energetic, brindle female AST x, 50 lbs. Gorgeous
lean licking machine! Good with cats (with supervision - playful), OK with
some dogs, perfect dog in the house. Crate-trained, house-trained, good
obedience base, excellent manners. Pulls onleash. Loves her people and her
stuffies.

AMBER - pretty red/white rednose APBT type, about 2 years & 40 lbs.
Well-mannered girl, well-trained, picked up stray and never claimed.
Beautiful colouring, respectful, excellent in the house, loves her toys,
well-behaved. Smart too! Very pretty girl. Good with other dogs, untested
with cats.

SMUDGE - Pekingese/Lhasa x, five years old, 125 lbs, lots and lots of
character - just like a Peke. Cute as a little button, looks like Oscar the
Grouch complete with unibrow and grimace. Excellent house manners but very
alpha personality, needs to go with people that are comfortable in the alpha
role. Great with cats, good with dogs but will clash with other dominant
dogs. Great companion, not a yappy dog. Personality plus!

ZEUS - 20-month-old blue male Neapolitan Mastiff. Very energetic for the
breed, loves his toys and his ball. Smart and responsive like a border
collie! Wary of strangers, needs to go to a home experienced with dogs who
understands and respects large powerful guardian breeds. Good with cats and
other dogs (with supervision - likes to play hard). Excellent with 'his'
people - needs to warm up to strangers on his own timeline. Would be
well-suited to a quiet family/individual/couple in a rural setting.

LEO - magnificent 5-year-old blue male Neapolitan Mastiff, 160 lbs,
gorgeous, typey, Hungarian lines, cropped and docked and previously shown.
Very boisterous during outdoor playtime, and he has a hard mouth, therefore
will not be placed with small kids. Stunning looks and temperament, the
kind of Neo people wish would come into rescue. Really a dog for a fancier
of the breed, has all the pros and cons of the breed including the slobber
on the cieling.

BRANDI - absolutely gorgeous 12-18-month-old mostly GSD, very very pretty,
about 45 lbs. Energetic and untrained (newly arrived into rescue).
Surrendered by owners at shelter for "not enough time". Very smart,
motivated, drivey. Sweet personality but we are working on house manners,
general obedience and getting her enough physical and mental stimulation.
Pushy with dogs, chases cats, great and tolerant with kids.

SILO - large mature (est 7 yrs) mostly Rottweiler - an absolute love.
Excellent with pretty much everything and anything. Doesn't like other dogs
right in his face though but just growls them off if they are obnoxious.
Great with kids, an absolute people-lover, he has won over his foster mom's
heart totally. Health looks great - a real keeper.

RUBY - compact little red rednose APBT type, about 2 years old & 40ish lbs,
bonds really quickly with people, no dogs, unknown with cats, Still in
boarding so we have not yet assessed her in a home environment. She is very
attached to her handler at the facility so we will be careful in encouraging
her to be independent and confident so she does not develop separation
issues. VERY nice-looking dog.

GILMOUR - APBT, male 6 yrs old, brindle and white. Has his CGC and
certified with Therapy Dogs International. AWESOME temperament, he has done
a lot of PR work for the breed. Well-behaved, obedient, very food-motivated
and very very people-loving. Good with dogs, cats, kids, all his house
manners are awesome.

We also have many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. All
animals are fully vetted before adoption into approved homes, inc
spay/neuter (including juveniles). Always needing foster and other
volunteers. We have a waiting list of dogs in shelters and are not able to
take in dogs from private homes.
